Aside from being the first person organize to organize Bachata Festival in the USA, Rodchata is also the co-organizer of the very first Dominican Republic Bachata Festival in Santo Domingo. Rodchata has taught bachatz all over the world and is considered one of the pioneers in bachara dancing.


Camille Yannantuono started training in gymnastic when she was 9 years old, competing for the Girls Club in Santa Barbara Ca. It wasn't until her last year in high school when she joined a Lindy Hop team, called the Swing Kids.


A 2-Time World Champion, Founder of Aguilar Dance Productions and Director of Couture Dance Alliance, Luis Aguilar debuted in 2000 with the Salsa Mania Dance Company in San Francisco. Since then, he performed with such giants in the Latin music industry as El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico, the Tito Puente Orquestra, Celia Cruz, Ray Barretto, Jose “El Canario” Alberto, Oscar de Leon, Eddie Palmieri, the Spanish Harlem Orquestra and Sonora Carruseles.

Orlando Valle had been dancing, competing, DJing, teaching salsa and bachata for over a decade! He currently hosts a successful weekly bachata social in San Francisco.

Kathy Reyes grew up developing an incredible passion and talent for dancing. She began her dance training at El Camino College in 2007. It was within this program that she discovered the intensity and adrenaline transmitted through her performance. In 2008 she became a member of Tropical Rhythm Dance Company directed by Luis Aguilar. He assisted Kathy in improving her skills and expanding her ability as a performer. During her involvement as a member of Tropical Rhythm, she had the opportunity to tour for various salsa congresses and competitions.


New York-based, international artists and scholars Dakota Romero and Edwin M Ferreras travel the world teaching and performing Bachata, Bolero, and Merengue. They are widely popular for their innovative methods of instruction; including connection, musicality, cultural idioms, history, footwork, and social dance etiquette, all the while encouraging their students to express themselves in their own unique way.

Julie has been trained in different dance styles; jazz, modern, contemporary, and more. She has professional training, which makes of her a great technical dance teacher but also a versatile dancer. In 2009, while working in Dominican Republic, she fell in love with bachata. Since then, Julie dances bachata and shares her passion in Montreal and internationally. She is known for her crazy Bachata Shines and Footwork.

Having been taught by numerous dance masters in the world, Miguel Zaragoza is a versatile dancer. He is the Co-Founder of Bachata ConMigo In Sacramento, a popular once-a-month bachata social. He has performed and taught at the 2010 Reno Festival and 2011 SF Bachata Festival. He is currently the resident DJ at Davis Graduate Nightclub in Davis, CA

Maria Kozlovskaya and Alexander Yumashev are dominican bachata instructors and promoters, organizers of BailaMar Bachata Camp in the DR and Dominican Flow Festival in Moscow.

Jules Bertrand Nouyadjam is a dance teacher, performer, choreographer and DJ!
Jules is originally from Cameroon, Africa and has been living in Montreal, Canada since the age of 10. He has been a passionate dancer for over 15 years, exploring everything from African dance, salsa, afro-cuban, bachata, cha cha, samba and hip hop. He is inspired by fusion and body isolation.

Benga is a Nigeria born international dancing sensation, with backgrounds in several African dances, ballroom dances, American dances, and latin dances. From Waltz to Tango, Makoussa to Kizomba, hip hop to west coast swing, and Irish dance to Bollywood.


Ana “Masacote” Tinajero, an international ambassador of Latin dance and music, has more than 20 years of experience as an instructor, dancer, and choreographer. She has loved dancing since childhood, and she began her formal dance training with folkloric dance at age 5 and Salsa at age 15.

Andrew Cervantez (America's Got Talent) is a salsa instructor and competitor originally from Sacramento. Andrew began dancing salsa as a teen, and is now one of the top salsa dancers in the world and is an in-demand instructor and performer at salsa congresses around the globe.
